I feel so lucky that I was able to take Aesop Academy’s Intensive Program over the fall break. The program was structured in a very effective way such that we not only saw the broad picture of consulting and businesses but also practiced the key skills to be a successful coworker and leader and listened to the stories of top business executives in such a short period of time. Panos was an incredible teacher: he believed in every student’s ability and created a welcoming environment to make sure we feel comfortable learning data analysis which may seem overwhelming. I particularly enjoyed working on several hands-on team projects as I was able to build new friendships, learn from my peers, and practice my leadership skills as to how to use the given time effectively, move on to a next step as a team, and share my opinions politely but clearly.

Over the course of the program, I further developed both my "soft" skills, such as networking skills, and "hard" skills like Excel and presentation development skills. The instructors both offered incredibly helpful career insights as experienced consultants. I have to say my favorite part of the course was the hands-on final project. It gave me a sense of what I would actually be doing if I were to become a consultant and it allowed me to develop my teamwork skills.
